FLO + MACHINE ANNOUNCE FOUR-DISC ALBUM

Florence and The Machine have just announced that they will be releasing a four-disc track of their album 'Lungs'.

It will feature the original album, plus live tracks, demo's, remixes and footage of their Rivoli Ballroom gig in London on July 7...

...as well as personal sketches, notes, photos and an essay from Florence Welch's fav authour David Vann.

Phew!

This does actually sound quite good tbh, but just lately I'm getting a bit sick of artists (*cough* Lady Gaga, Beyonce) re-releasing their albums.

It's not fair to fans who are forced to re-buy the albums- it's a rip-off basically.

Stop.It.Please.

Thanks.

I know it's quite old, but I've just re-discovered it on my Ipod. Sooooo loving Mr Legend atm... Here is the beautiful 'Everybody Know's- Enjoy!

GAGA AS YOU'VE NEVER SEEN HER BEFORE... NORMAL!

Thought Lady Gaga was some blonde-haired alien catapulted from out-of-space??

So did I.

But we were wrong! Just a mere four years ago, she was a brown-haired, soulful singer/songwriter, using her birth-name Stephanie.

Doesn't she sound good? If just a little bland... defo prefer Gaga for the entertainment methinks.

ORIGINAL 'BABES ARE DEFINITEY REFORMING

It was revealed today that the original Sugababes- Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy are DEFINTELY reforming.

They will be managed by Claire Powell, who famously changed Jordan's image from glamour-girl pin-up, to Katie Price: the house-mum. She is also currently Petre Andre's manager.

A label source said: "The comeback is gathering momentum.

"Mutya had a lot of convincing to do to get the girls around the table to sort things out. That happened last week and they are all game to give it a go."Mutya's manager knows he needs some muscle to make it a commercial success and he's called in his old pal Claire.

X-FACTOR -2 ROBBIE-0

The mighty force that is X-Factor has beaten Robbie Williams again in the chart battle with JLS triumphing at no.1 with their new album, leaving Robbie lagging at no.2.

The london four-pieces debut album narrowly beat Robbies comeback offering and also achieved more faster-selling sales than any other album this year.

It comes after last years X-Factor winner, Alexandre Burke, beat Robbie to number 1 earlier this month.

However, Robbie, ever the gentleman, called the boys to congratulate them and invited to meet him in LA when they're next there.

This news just proves how much the X-Factor is really taking over the charts, which I highlighted in my recent post.

We have seen everyone involved with the show see great chart sucess- the cotestants, judges and even the celebrity acts that peform on the show- which was further backed up yesterday with JLS's result, and Black Eyed Peas going to number one with their new single, that they peformed on the show last week.

Brace yourselves guys, as this is no ordinary vid...

Yes, the kooky character that is Lady Gaga has just released the video for her new song 'Bad Romance' and I can tell you now, it's more scary than The Exorcist!

As well as the usual near-nakedness, crazy hair, zany hats and creative dance routines, we also have full-blown fires and Gaga lying on a bed full of ash with a skeleton... scary stuff!

As I revealed in my earlier post, Paparazzi won scariest music vid, but I think Gaga's outdone herself with this thriller of a vid-

Watch if you dare,

muhahahahaha....

STEVE TYLER QUITS AEROSMITH

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has revealed that frontman Steve Tyler has split the band 'as far as he can tell'.

"Steven quit as far as I can tell," he told the Las Vegas Sun, adding that the singer "has had no contact with me or the other band members".

However, Perry said it's not the end of the band and that they are most likely to try and find a replacement singer for the ageing rocker saying:

"Right now I'm adjusting to how we're going to go on," Perry explained." Aerosmith is such a powerful band, I mean it's like a steam locomotive. You just can't disregard 40 years of four guys who play together as well as they do.

"As far as replacing Steve, it's not just about that, it's also four guys that play extremely well together, and I'm not going to see that go to waste. I really don't know what path it's going to take at this point, but we'll probably find somebody else that will sing in those spots where we need a singer."

It comes after a tough few months for the band; Tyler was taken to hospital in August after falling off-stage at a gig in Dakota- meaning the band had to cancel their US tour. Tyler was also quoted on saying he wanted to concentrate on 'Brand Tyler' in an recent interview with Classic Rock Magazine.

X-FACTOR TAKING OVER?

Over the past few weeks, we have seen incredible force that is The X-Factor taking over the charts, and it's quest for domination hasn't ended yet- with JLS scoring their second number 1 single yesterday with new song 'Everybody in Love'

Their newest single knocked judge Chery Cole of the top with her debut single 'Fight For This Love' which, on it's release, knocked last years winner, Alexandre Burke, off the top spot with her new single since the show 'Bad Boys'.

Alexandre's debut album also reached number 1 on it's release week, and was again knocked off by Cheryl Cole's first solo 'album 3 words'. JLS release their offering this week and expected to reach number 1. However, former winner Leona Lewis releases her new single 'Happy' after a stunning performance on last night's show which is expected to now knock JLS off the top spot.

Even the 'celebrity guest mentors' that featured on the show have seen great success. Robbie Williams reached number 2, behind Burke after performing with her on the first Sunday show, and Michael Buble, Whitney Houson and Bon Jovi have seen high single and album positions after slots on the show.

It seems that The X-Factor is definitely exterminating all the competition, and with the eventual winner of this years competition being bookies favourite to be Christmas no.1, it seems like we'll be having an X-Factor X-mas too!

BEYONCE STEALS THE SHOW AT THE EMA'S

Beyonce completely stole the show at the MTV European Music Awards last night by winning three awards.

She scooped the gong for Best Female, Best Video and Best Song whilst putting in a magnificent performance clad in a red basque and suspenders.

She overshadowed the likes of Lady Gaga and Kings Of Leon, who were both nominated for five awards each.

Gaga only managed to win the award for Best New Act, which she thanked the audience for over a video, as she snubbed the awards to stay in London, filming her new films for her upcoming tour.

Rockers Kings Of Leon were given nothing by the audience.

Katy Perry also put in a perfect performance as a second-time host for the awards show, providing us with witty banter and some amazing outfits.

She wore seven different ensembles, with her themes being "dark, sexy, romantic and evil - with a dash of goofiness thrown in for good measure".

The likes of Shakira, Leona Lewis, Jay-z and Green Day put in some amazing performances to the awards show, which was a tribute to it being the 20th anniversary of the Berlin Wall falling next week, making it arguably the best EMA's yet.

Timbaland has asked Pixie Lott to work for him, according to The Sun newspaper.

The music producer and performer was apparently passing an LA studio that Pixie was working in and liked what he heard , and no doubt what he saw of the stunning singer.

This could be a great way for the 'Mama Do' songstress to crack into America and achieve her dream of an LA pad.

NO JACK FOR SLASH

Jack White from the White Stripes has turned down the chance to sing on former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash's debut solo album.
